Worship and Serve

"Get out of here, Satan," Jesus told him. "For the scriptures say, 'You must worship the Lord your God and serve only him.'" (Matthew 4:10 NLT)

Today's meditation: You serve what you worship. Think about that.

Pray today for the Emmanuel family to be a worshiping family, honoring God with what we say and do, and for our worship services this semester to be genuine and heartfelt, especially New Beginnings services that continue through Sunday.

Please pray every day for the top three needs of Emmanuel College:

• For clear vision of God's mission in 2019 and beyond.
• For growing enrollments and for more than 1000 students next fall.
• For the College to become debt-free.

On Fridays, please pray for our fundraising efforts, especially for special projects: To remodel facilities debt-free, including improvements to Wellons Residence Hall, construction of the Collins agricultural teaching/lab building, and donations of lead gifts to expand the dining hall and improve academic facilities.
