Walking on the Water

Then Peter called to him, "Lord, if it's really you, tell me to come to you, walking on the water." "Yes, come," Jesus said. (Matthew 14:28-30a NLT)

Today's meditation:

• When it's Jesus calling us to come, miracles will follow our obedience.

Pray today:

• For courage when we find ourselves in uncertain places, when we must step out in faith, when trust is a challenge.
• For the students, staff, and faculty of Emmanuel College to hear Jesus calling, "Yes, come," for us to go where he calls, to walk where he commands.
• For plans yet to unfold, for direction when the way forward is not clear, for knowledge in the face the unknown, for discernment when considering choices.
