Strength

God said this once and for all; how many times have I heard it repeated? "Strength comes straight from God." (Psalm 62:11 MSG)

Today's meditation:

• "Strength comes from God" is a truth we need not merely recite. We must live it everyday.

Pray today:

• For those among the Emmanuel College faculty, staff and administration, who need strength and energy to complete the Spring Semester, to find and receive God's strength, more than enough for every task.
• For our students, who may find their energy depleted, to turn to the Lord for the boost of energy they need to complete all their work this semester and finish strong.
• For those who work alongside us, our helpers and counselors, our alumni and friends, to have abundant strength and sturdy resolve to continue supporting the work of the Lord at Emmanuel College. 

Our prayers make a difference in our outcomes. Please continue to pray over the list below that focuses on key needs at Emmanuel College.

PRAY FOR OUR HELPERS AND SUPPORTERS

• To possess words of influence and to use them wisely.
• To experience the favor of God.
• To supply resources, both financial and otherwise, that create a bright future for the College.

PRAY FOR THE LEADERSHIP TEAM

• To be guided by the Holy Spirit with gifts of knowledge and discernment.
• To make good decisions and to clearly communicate them.
• To be faithful in all circumstances, whether easy or hard, always with thankful hearts.

PRAY FOR THE TOP FIVE NEEDS OF EMMANUEL COLLEGE

• To complete the process of dramatically reducing our debt before May 2018, and further, to eliminate our debt within 5 years.
• To successfully achieve reaffirmation of accreditation in June 2018.
• To be accepted into active membership in the NCAA Division II in July 2018.
• To enroll more than 1000 students in August 2018.
• To hear the Word of the Lord regarding life after debt and our vision for an expanded mission for 2018 and beyond.

• Ongoing tasks and processes regarding the reduction and elimination of debt.
• Recruiting activities including the Scholars Day event on March 23.
• Recruiting at Conference Talent Quest events in March and April.
• Recruiting at Conference Youth Camps this summer. 
• EC Serve mission trip to Appalachia, June 3-9.
• EC Serve mission trip to Costa Rica, June 8-16.
• EC Serve mission trip to Uganda and Kenya, June 12-29.
