Unless I Wash You

Jesus replied, "Unless I wash you, you won't belong to me." Simon Peter exclaimed, "Then wash my hands and head as well, Lord, not just my feet!" (John 13:8 NLT)

Today's meditation:

• Debris from the world can so easily attach itself to us in our going, working and thinking, but may we yield each day to the gentle cleansing of the Savior - head, hands and feet.

Pray today:

• For the people of Emmanuel College to be committed to Jesus Christ as never before, to keep our minds pure and focused on him, to go where he calls us whether near or far, and to do what he asks of us - teaching, learning, nurturing, growing, leading, serving, praying, praising - until he comes again.

Our prayers make a difference in our outcomes. Please continue to pray over the list below that focuses on key needs at Emmanuel College.

PRAY FOR OUR HELPERS AND SUPPORTERS

• To possess words of influence and to use them wisely.
• To experience the favor of God.
• To supply resources, both financial and otherwise, that create a bright future for the College.

PRAY FOR THE LEADERSHIP TEAM

• To be guided by the Holy Spirit with gifts of knowledge and discernment.
• To make good decisions and to clearly communicate them.
• To be faithful in all circumstances, whether easy or hard, always with thankful hearts.

PRAY FOR THE TOP FIVE NEEDS OF EMMANUEL COLLEGE

• To complete the process of dramatically reducing our debt before May 2018, and further, to eliminate our debt within 5 years.
• To successfully achieve reaffirmation of accreditation in June 2018.
• To be accepted into active membership in the NCAA Division II in July 2018.
• To enroll more than 1000 students in August 2018.
• To hear the Word of the Lord regarding life after debt and our vision for an expanded mission for 2018 and beyond.

PRAY FOR IMPORTANT UPCOMING EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES

• Ongoing tasks and processes regarding the reduction and elimination of debt.
• Recruiting at Conference Talent Quest events in March and April.
• Recruiting at Conference Youth Camps this summer. 
• EC Serve mission trip to Appalachia, June 3-9.
• EC Serve mission trip to Costa Rica, June 8-16.
• EC Serve mission trip to Uganda and Kenya, June 12-29.
