Today's meditation:
- Every day is not lived in high victory. Some days are nothing but calamity, like when Mary tried to explain her pregnancy to Joseph and her parents or when she gave birth to her first child in an unsanitary, smelly stable. But during these times, it helps to remember the great things God has already done for us.
- For the Christmas season to remind us of all God's gifts to humanity, certainly the gift of the Savior, but especially that this Savior reaches all the way to me, forgives my sins, and makes me whole.
- For overwhelming joy because God has adopted us into his family, for the indescribable privilege to partner in our Father's business of advancing his kingdom on earth.
- For keen awareness of the great things the Mighty One has already done for us, for these remembrances to make us strong in the hard places and to remind us that he is with us even on those days we feel alone.
