Today's meditation:
- To win we must work with commitment and purpose in every effort which brings us back to the old adage: "Work like it's all up to us, but pray like it's all up to him." The former statement is not license to do as we please, and the latter is no excuse for laziness. Find purpose in every step.
Pray today:
- For our Athletic Department, for our leaders, coaches, and athletes, for our sports teams and the opportunities they have to compete and serve.
- For athletics to be a vibrant community of people who are examples of Christian living in their actions and who inspire others to strive for greatness, both in sport and in life.
- For successful completion of the NCAA membership process such that Emmanuel College becomes a full member in the summer of 2017.
