Suppose you see a brother or sister who has no food or clothing, and you say, "Good-bye and have a good day; stay warm and eat well" - but then you don't give that person any food or clothing. What good does that do? So you see, faith by itself isn't enough. Unless it produces good deeds, it is dead and useless. (James 2:15-17 NLT)
Today's prayer topics:
- Pray our actions of mercy and good works flow naturally and generously from our ever-increasing faith.
- Pray for our those who plan to be on the mission trip to Nicaragua next summer. Pray each person is able to raise his or her support. Pray for strength and resources to do the work.
- Pray for individual and corporate supporters who give as an extension of their faith, making charity one of their good works.
Never give up unless it's praise we give up to God; never give in except to give in to him.
