- Pray we place the truth of the Word, especially his promises to us, at the core of everything we do.
- Pray we stand our ground, not because we are good and able, but because the Lord our God replaces our inadequacies with his perfection and righteousness, making us his agents of good in a world gone mad.
- Pray we understand it is what God has done and is doing that covers us with protection and keeps us safe in the heat of battle.

- Thankful for a faithful alum who sent his $10 this month like he does every month, and also thankful for a friend of the College who sent a one-time gift of $1000. Both are used of God to provide for the needs of Emmanuel College.
