A Child is Born

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. (Isaiah 9:6  NIV)

• Oh, the difference the birth of a child makes, but the Christ-child changed the world by rescuing us.
• Pray for the leaders of Emmanuel College to allow Jesus to counsel and guide us into his perfect paths.
• Pray the entire Emmanuel family yields to the power of our God and to the authority of our loving father, and pray for Christ's peace to still the hearts and minds, bringing rest, confidence, and hope.
