Light Has Dawned

The people living in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of the shadow of death a light has dawned. (Matthew 4:16 NIV)

Today's prayer topics:

• The birth of Jesus is the birth of hope for mankind, that what is broken can be repaired, that what is lost can be found.
• As Christ's followers, pray we commit ourselves to sharing the light of the Gospel wherever he leads us, whether to some far-flung corner of the earth covered with the shadow of death or even if it's to those living in darkness across the street in my neighborhood.
