Plead with the Lord

He [Jesus] said to them, "The harvest is bigger than you can imagine, but there are few workers. Therefore, plead with the Lord of the harvest to send out workers for his harvest." (Luke 10:2 CEB)

Today's praise and prayer topics:

• If the challenge is bigger than we can imagine, then the solution is bigger still. Pray to the Lord, the only one who is capable of solutions greater than we can imagine.
• Pray for God to assemble the workers, both employees and volunteers, at Emmanuel College who will trust him regardless of circumstances, who will release their faith and joyfully obey.
• Plead with God for a mighty harvest of students among those who flock to Emmanuel that they in turn become workers in an even greater global harvest.

Give thanks for God's generous care and for his answers to our prayers:

• Thanks be to God for the doors that are opening to unlimited resources that will be used to expand the reach of Emmanuel College in the harvest of souls all around us.

As the praises go up, the power comes down.
