Don't Worry

So don't worry about these things, saying, What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear? These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. (Matthew 6:31 NLT)

Today's prayer topics:

• Pray we stop worrying about the myriad of challenges we face, and instead, take action as God directs.
• Pray for the student life personnel and the campus operations staff who are pressed to get everything ready for the arrival of our students for the fall semester.
• Week 16 in the campaign FOR EMMANUEL. May we take comfort knowing that God is aware of all our needs and knows exactly how to meet them.

Answered prayer:

• God has been answering the prayers of previous generations of leaders regarding the placement of Emmanuel's graduates in service. In my travels this past weekend, I met so many alums who are filling vital roles in their churches, their communities, and their professions. 

Never give up unless it's praise we give up to God; never give in except to give in to him.
