Strong in Battle

Their weakness was turned to strength. They became strong in battle and put whole armies to flight. (Hebrews 11:34b NLT)

• Thank God for lending his strength to our weakness, amazing those who know how far we've come and creating confidence for battles yet to be.
• Pray for the 18 students who made confessions of faith during the Alpha Spiritual Emphasis this weekend. Pray for more to commit to Christ in the final service at 10:30 a.m. Eastern today.
• Week 19 in the campaign FOR EMMANUEL. Pray for barriers and obstacles to fall, unleashing a flood of compassion and generosity.

Answered prayer:

Continuing on each of the next 3 days, I will recount an answer to prayer during the past twelve months that has led to a successful opening of fall semester:

• He has influenced alumni and friends of the college to send donations both great and small which have supported operations and funded scholarships. He also sent us the largest unrestricted estate gift the College has ever received.
