Encourage Each Other

But encourage each other every day while it is today. Help each other so none of you will become hardened because sin has tricked you. (Hebrews 3:13 NCV)

Give thanks for God's generous care and for his answers to our prayers:

• We praise God and give thanks for random words of kindness flowing into our lives at just the right time, nurturing our hope, stimulating our faith.

Today's prayer topics:

• Pray for those in the Emmanuel family who may be discouraged, weary with the fight, to receive support and encouragement that refreshes and brings peace.
• Pray for students in the stress of exams or facing personal challenges to find solace in the company of believers who pray for them and speak comforting words.
• Pray for spiritual discernment to unmask the tricks of the devil, throwing off oppression, allowing God to soften our hearts and exchange our anxiety for rest.

As the praises go up, the power comes down.
