Singing to the Lord

After consulting the people, the king appointed singers to walk ahead of the army, singing to the Lord and praising him for his holy splendor. This is what they sang: "Give thanks to the Lord; his faithful love endures forever!" (2 Chronicles 20:21 NLT)

Today's prayer topics:

• Praise God for the many prayers offered on behalf of Emmanuel College throughout the accreditation reaffirmation process thus far which has made all the difference and has brought us miraculous results.
• As the process continues, please pray earnestly over the next eight months that we find favor with the members of the review committee next June in the same way God's favor was upon us during the onsite committee visit last week.
• As we move into the next phases of battle on all fronts, pray we lead the way with songs of praise, acknowledging our great God as our source and our champion.

Give thanks for God's generous care and for his answers to our prayers:

• We praise God for his holy splendor, and we thank God for his faithfulness to us.

As the praises go up, the power comes down.
