Day 4 of 12 days of prayer and fasting. Join us in prayer for the new school year at Emmanuel College. If you are able, fast a meal during this 12-day emphasis. Thank you for your prayers.
Pray today:
- For each session, event, and activity to be effective during new student orientation this weekend, for staff and faculty to have heightened perception and discernment to notice those who may need encouragement and prayer.
- For returning students who are moving in this weekend, for them to find resources to meet financial and other needs.
- For all our students to grow in the Lord this academic year as they pursue their education, for those who may struggle spiritually or academically to find the help they need to succeed as well as God's grace and peace.
- To enroll more than 1000 students in August 2018.
- To continue reducing our debt over the next five years with the purpose of becoming debt-free.
- To hear the Word of the Lord regarding life after debt and our vision for an expanded mission for 2018 and beyond.
Pray for upcoming events and activities:.
- First week of classes beginning Monday, August 6.
- Alpha Weekend, opening the new school year with spiritual emphasis, August 9-12.
- Chapel services each Tuesday at 11 a.m.
