To Walk Humbly

He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God. (Micah 6:8 NIV)

Today's meditation:

• May we ever grow closer to God's expectations for us which are good for us, should inspire us, and will make us better people.

Pray today:

• For God to help us live right, love well, and walk with God, for students, staff and faculty to experience unity in Christ and in our common mission to live for Jesus and proclaim his kingdom come.

Pray for the top three needs of Emmanuel College:

• To hear the Word of the Lord regarding life after debt and our vision for an expanded mission for 2018 and beyond.
• To enroll more than 1000 students in August 2019.
• To continue reducing our debt over the next five years with the purpose of becoming debt-free.

Pray for upcoming events and activities:.

• Chapel services each Tuesday at 11 a.m. and on Wednesdays at 7 p.m.
• Vision 4 Education Celebration sponsored by Women's Ministries, October 5.
• Board of Trustees Meeting, October 5-6.
• Homecoming Weekend, October 19-21.
• Fall Preview recruiting event, November 2-4.
