The Power

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. (Matthew 6:13 KJV)

Today's meditation:

• Evil always strives to take us out, to diminish us in some way, especially if we raise our voices to proclaim God's salvation. Deliver us from evil is a prayer to pray every day because God has power greater than evil, and he will use it to defend us.

Pray today:

• For Emmanuel College and it's students, staff and faculty to be protected from the designs and plots of the enemy, for the kingdom of God to be resident in us, for the power and glory of God to shield us from evil and to enable us for service. 

Pray for the top three needs of Emmanuel College:

• To hear the Word of the Lord regarding life after debt and our vision for an expanded mission for 2018 and beyond.
• To enroll more than 1000 students in August 2019.
• To continue reducing our debt over the next five years with the purpose of becoming debt-free.

Pray for upcoming events and activities:.

• Chapel services each Tuesday at 11 a.m. and on Wednesdays at 7 p.m.
• Vision 4 Education Celebration sponsored by Women's Ministries, October 5.
• Board of Trustees Meeting, October 5-6.
• Homecoming Weekend, October 19-21.
• Fall Preview recruiting event, November 2-4.
