Joyful Symphony

Sing your praise to the Lord with the harp, with the harp and melodious song, with trumpets and the sound of the ram's horn. Make a joyful symphony before the Lord, the King. (Psalm 98:5-6 NLT)

Today's meditation:

• May each of us take our place in the fellowship of believers around the world to be a joyful symphony of praise today in our houses of worship as we exalt and worship the Lord.

Pray today:

• For the praises to go up and the glory to come down at Emmanuel College, for our heart of worship to expand, for our students, staff and faculty to be renewed and refreshed in the presence of our Lord, for continuous praise to pour forth from this place.

Pray for the top three needs of Emmanuel College:

• To hear the Word of the Lord regarding life after debt and our vision for an expanded mission for 2018 and beyond.
• To enroll more than 1000 students in August 2019.
• To continue reducing our debt over the next five years with the purpose of becoming debt-free.

Pray for upcoming events and activities:.

• Chapel services each Tuesday at 11 a.m. and on Wednesdays at 7 p.m.
• Vision 4 Education Celebration sponsored by Women's Ministries, October 5.
• Board of Trustees Meeting, October 5-6.
• Homecoming Weekend, October 19-21.
• Fall Preview recruiting event, November 2-4.
