Keep on Praying

So we keep on praying for you, asking our God to enable you to live a life worthy of his call. May he give you the power to accomplish all the good things your faith prompts you to do. (2 Thessalonians 1:11 NLT)

Today's meditation:

• Our prayer life keeps us centered on our source, the Lord Jesus Christ. Praying for one another keeps us focused on the fellowship of believers. Keep on praying.

Pray today:

• For the work of the Lord through Emmanuel College, for all God wants to accomplish through us, for students, staff and faculty to be inspired and energized to live for Christ and share the good news of God's love, for more prayer and intercession to be offered on our behalf.

Pray for the top three needs of Emmanuel College:

• To hear the Word of the Lord regarding life after debt and our vision for an expanded mission for 2018 and beyond.
• To enroll more than 1000 students in August 2019.
• To continue reducing our debt over the next five years with the purpose of becoming debt-free.

Pray for upcoming events and activities:.

• Chapel services each Tuesday at 11 a.m. and on Wednesdays at 7 p.m.
• Vision 4 Education Celebration sponsored by Women's Ministries, October 5.
• Board of Trustees Meeting, October 5-6.
• Homecoming Weekend, October 19-21.
• Fall Preview recruiting event, November 2-4.
