A New Grip

So take a new grip with your tired hands and strengthen your weak knees. (Hebrews 12:12 NLT)

• Life can get weary, even for the Christian, but if we hold tightly to Jesus and follow him, strength comes.

Pray today:

• For staff and faculty at the fall midterm to refresh themselves, for acute awareness of the needs of our students and for courage to advise, guide, and direct them.
• For the weary and weak to reach out to Jesus for renewal and strength.

Pray for the top three needs of Emmanuel College:

• To hear the Word of the Lord regarding life after debt and our vision for an expanded mission for 2018 and beyond.
• To enroll more than 1000 students in August 2019.
• To continue reducing our debt over the next five years with the purpose of becoming debt-free.

Pray for upcoming events and activities:.

• General chapel services on Tuesdays at 11 a.m. and on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. and School of Christian Ministries chapel services on Thursdays at 11 a.m.
• Vision 4 Education Celebration sponsored by Women's Ministries, October 5.
• Board of Trustees Meeting, October 5-6.
• Homecoming Weekend, October 19-21.
• Fall Preview recruiting event, November 2-4.
