Today's meditation:
- People may do things to you and events may work against you, but through it all, God can be trusted completely. There is no need to fear.
- For eyes on God, for trust in him, in every circumstance, good or bad, clear or uncertain.
- For fear to dissipate in the presence of our loving Lord, for faith in God to keep us moving forward, for obstacles to God's plan for us to be removed by the power of the Holy Spirit.
- To hear the Word of the Lord regarding life after debt and our vision for an expanded mission for 2018 and beyond.
- To enroll more than 1000 students in August 2019.
- To continue reducing our debt over the next five years with the purpose of becoming debt-free.

- General chapel services on Tuesdays at 11 a.m. and on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. and School of Christian Ministries chapel services on Thursdays at 11 a.m.
- Vision 4 Education Celebration sponsored by Women's Ministries, October 5.
- Board of Trustees Meeting, October 5-6.
- Homecoming Weekend, October 19-21.
- Fall Preview recruiting event, November 2-4.
