Think

The Lord has given me a strong warning not to think like everyone else does. (Isaiah 8:11 NLT)

Today's meditation:

• We are not to follow the crowd or go with the flow. We are called to swim against the stream, to think differently - like Jesus!

Pray today:

• For the people of Emmanuel College to dare to think differently about education and learning, about recruiting and fundraising, about service and ministry, about mission and vision, not for difference sake but for the purpose of being more effective and successful at what God has called us to do.

Pray for the top three needs of Emmanuel College:

• To hear the Word of the Lord regarding life after debt and our vision for an expanded mission for 2018 and beyond.
• To enroll more than 1000 students in August 2019.
• To continue reducing our debt over the next five years with the purpose of becoming debt-free.

Pray for upcoming events and activities:.

• General chapel services on Tuesdays at 11 a.m. and on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. and School of Christian Ministries chapel services on Thursdays at 11 a.m.
• Vision 4 Education Celebration sponsored by Women's Ministries, October 5.
• Board of Trustees Meeting, October 5-6.
• Homecoming Weekend, October 19-21.
• Fall Preview recruiting event, November 2-4.
