Today's meditation:
- Helplessness drains hope from the soul until we learn to call upon the Lord who is our help and our hope, enabling us to endure and overcome trouble.
- For disaster relief efforts to the hurricane and flooding victims in eastern North Carolina, for the EC Serve project on our campus to collect provisions and supplies to send to flood victims there.
- For other EC Serve projects in the planning stages, for more volunteers to engage in serving others through these projects, for the people who need our help, who need hope restored, who need to see the Lord through the loving care of his sons and daughters.
- To hear the Word of the Lord regarding life after debt and our vision for an expanded mission for 2018 and beyond.
- To enroll more than 1000 students in August 2019.
- To continue reducing our debt over the next five years with the purpose of becoming debt-free.
Pray for upcoming events and activities:.
- General chapel services on Tuesdays at 11 a.m. and on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. and School of Christian Ministries chapel services on Thursdays at 11 a.m.
- Vision 4 Education Celebration sponsored by Women's Ministries, October 5.
- Board of Trustees Meeting, October 5-6.
- Homecoming Weekend, October 19-21.
- Fall Preview recruiting event, November 2-4.
