Walk with God

God, I must keep my promises to you. I will give you my offerings to thank you, because you have saved me from death. You have kept me from being defeated. So I will walk with God in light among the living. (Psalms 56:12-13 NCV)

Today's meditation:

• Our gratitude to God knows no bounds because he has saved us and defeated our foes. And now, we show our gratefulness through our offerings of thanks, through our commitments to his purposes, and through our obedience in following his light. 

Pray today:

• For divine light to see the way of God for Emmanuel College, for supernatural strength to walk boldly where God leads us. 
• For our prayers and petitions to be bathed in praise and thanks for what he's already done, knowing that the miracles of the past open the way for the miracles yet to come.

Pray for the top three needs of Emmanuel College:

• To hear the Word of the Lord regarding life after debt and our vision for an expanded mission for 2018 and beyond.
• To enroll more than 1000 students in August 2019.
• To continue reducing our debt over the next five years with the purpose of becoming debt-free.

Pray for upcoming events and activities:.

• General chapel services on Tuesdays at 11 a.m. and on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. and School of Christian Ministries chapel services on Thursdays at 11 a.m.
• Vision 4 Education Celebration sponsored by Women's Ministries, October 5.
• Board of Trustees Meeting, October 5-6.
• Homecoming Weekend, October 19-21.
• Fall Preview recruiting event, November 2-4.
