Save the World

For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. (John 3:17 NIV)

Today's meditation:

• One by one people come to the Lord, individually and personally, and this is how the world is saved.

Pray today:

• For several students who recently accepted Jesus as Savior, for all on our campus who are young in the faith, for them to grow in Christ and in the fellowship of believers, for their faith and influence to overflow on others who need the Lord.

Pray for the top three needs of Emmanuel College:

• To hear the Word of the Lord regarding life after debt and our vision for an expanded mission for 2018 and beyond.
• To enroll more than 1000 students in August 2019.
• To continue reducing our debt over the next five years with the purpose of becoming debt-free.

Pray for upcoming events and activities:.

• General chapel services on Tuesdays at 11 a.m. and on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. and School of Christian Ministries chapel services on Thursdays at 11 a.m.
• Vision 4 Education Celebration sponsored by Women's Ministries, October 5.
• Board of Trustees Meeting, October 5-6.
• Homecoming Weekend, October 19-21.
• Fall Preview recruiting event, November 2-4.
