Today's meditation:
- There is God's Word, the Bible, and then there is his word, as in giving his word, his promises that we depend upon.
- For our prayers of praise to rise to God. May we praise him for who he is, for his presence with us, for his promises to us, for his miracles among us, for his love for us.
- For faith and trust to grow in us as each challenge is overcome, helping us to see new threats with God's perspective - easy for him, like nothing to him.
- To hear the Word of the Lord regarding life after debt and our vision for an expanded mission for 2018 and beyond.
- To enroll more than 1000 students in August 2019.
- To continue reducing our debt over the next five years with the purpose of becoming debt-free.
Pray for upcoming events and activities:.
- General chapel services on Tuesdays at 11 a.m. and on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. and School of Christian Ministries chapel services on Thursdays at 11 a.m.
- Vision 4 Education Celebration sponsored by Women's Ministries, October 5.
- Board of Trustees Meeting, October 5-6.
- Homecoming Weekend, October 19-21.
- Fall Preview recruiting event, November 2-4.
