Win the Prize

Today's meditation:

• Playing by the rules of the game keeps one in the game and moving toward a win. True in games, true in life.

Pray today:

• For our student athletes to work diligently in their respective sports, but more importantly, for them to fight for victory in living, following the example of Jesus both on and off the field of play.
• For our coaches, staff and faculty to be effective guides and mentors to our student athletes, to lead them to Jesus, to help them understand Christian principles, good decision-making, and teamwork, to show them how to apply lessons from competition to the arena of life.

Pray for the top three needs of Emmanuel College:

• To hear the Word of the Lord regarding life after debt and our vision for an expanded mission for 2018 and beyond.
• To enroll more than 1000 students in August 2019.
• To continue reducing our debt over the next five years with the purpose of becoming debt-free.

Pray for upcoming events and activities:.

• General chapel services on Tuesdays at 11 a.m. and on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. and School of Christian Ministries chapel services on Thursdays at 11 a.m.
• Vision 4 Education Celebration sponsored by Women's Ministries, October 5.
• Board of Trustees Meeting, October 5-6.
• Homecoming Weekend, October 19-21.
• Fall Preview recruiting event, November 2-4.
