Ecstatic Joy

Then I will go to the altar of God, to the God who gives me ecstatic joy, so that I express my thanks to you, O God, my God. (Psalm 43:4 NET)

Today's meditation:

• Sit quietly. Let your mind dwell on God's provision for Emmanuel College. You will not sit long before you are on your feet joyfully praising God.

Pray today:

• Give thanks for God's marvelous provision for Emmanuel College.
• Give thanks for the Vision 4 Education offering brought last Friday by the Women's Ministries of the IPHC which totals nearly $45,000 to date and with additional gifts on the way.
• Give thanks for another large gift that came on Saturday through the Board of Trustees.

Pray for the top three needs of Emmanuel College:

• To hear the Word of the Lord regarding life after debt and our vision for an expanded mission for 2018 and beyond.
• To enroll more than 1000 students in August 2019.
• To continue reducing our debt over the next five years with the purpose of becoming debt-free.

Pray for upcoming events and activities:.

• General chapel services on Tuesdays at 11 a.m. and on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. and School of Christian Ministries chapel services on Thursdays at 11 a.m.
• Homecoming Weekend, October 19-21.
• Fall Preview recruiting event, November 2-4.
