Evil Schemes

Lord, do not let evil people have their way. Do not let their evil schemes succeed. (Psalm 140:8 NLT)

Today's meditation:

• The enemies of God never rest which is why we pray without ceasing to thwart evil wherever it is found.

Pray today:

• For the defeat of evil, for our prayers to keep the people of God advancing no matter the schemes of evil people, for Emmanuel College to be a force for God in the war against evil, for strength to persist and press on in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Pray for the top three needs of Emmanuel College:

• To hear the Word of the Lord regarding life after debt and our vision for an expanded mission for 2018 and beyond.
• To enroll more than 1000 students in August 2019.
• To continue reducing our debt over the next five years with the purpose of becoming debt-free.

Pray for upcoming events and activities:.

• General chapel services on Tuesdays at 11 a.m. and on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. and School of Christian Ministries chapel services on Thursdays at 11 a.m.
• Vision 4 Education Celebration sponsored by Women's Ministries, October 5.
• Board of Trustees Meeting, October 5-6.
• Homecoming Weekend, October 19-21.
• Fall Preview recruiting event, November 2-4.
