Great Things

Then King David went in and sat before the Lord and prayed . . . Because of your promise and according to your will, you have done all these great things and have made them known to your servant. (2 Samuel 7:18, 21 NLT)

Today's meditation:

• Sit before the Lord in speechless wonder because of his promises and his marvelous faithfulness to us.  

Pray today:

• For Emmanuel College to stay centered up in God's will, always quick to rejoice over past blessings, giving him the credit and the glory.
• For the present and the future to be full of even greater things that God performs through his servants to advance his kingdom here on earth.

Pray for the top three needs of Emmanuel College:

• To hear the Word of the Lord regarding life after debt and our vision for an expanded mission for 2018 and beyond.
• To enroll more than 1000 students in August 2019.
• To continue reducing our debt over the next five years with the purpose of becoming debt-free.

Pray for upcoming events and activities:.

• General chapel services on Tuesdays at 11 a.m. and on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. and School of Christian Ministries chapel services on Thursdays at 11 a.m.
• Homecoming Weekend, October 19-21.
• Fall Preview recruiting event, November 2-4.
• EC Serve trips for 2019 in the planning stages to Alaska, Appalachia, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Myanmar, and Panama.
