What Christ Has Done

So I have reason to be enthusiastic about all Christ Jesus has done through me in my service to God. Yet I dare not boast about anything except what Christ has done through me. (Romans 15:17-18a NLT)

Today's meditation:

• Be enthusiastic and rejoice over what God has done at Emmanuel College in recent years, reducing debt and releasing hope for a better day. 

Pray today:

• For what Christ is doing through Emmanuel College, for our students who are being prepared and called into careers of service, for our staff and faculty who teach and mentor year after year, for the expansion of our circle of influence in the world that reaches farther and higher and deeper than ever before.

Pray for the top three needs of Emmanuel College:

• To hear the Word of the Lord regarding life after debt and our vision for an expanded mission for 2018 and beyond.
• To enroll more than 1000 students in August 2019.
• To continue reducing our debt over the next five years with the purpose of becoming debt-free.

Pray for upcoming events and activities:.

• General chapel services on Tuesdays at 11 a.m. and on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. and School of Christian Ministries chapel services on Thursdays at 11 a.m.
• Homecoming Weekend, October 19-21.
• Fall Preview recruiting event, November 2-4.
• EC Serve trips for 2019 in the planning stages to Alaska, Appalachia, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Myanmar, and Panama.
