Today's meditation:
- Prayer is as essential to the child of God as breathing is to the body. Exhale and vent to God our frustrations and sins. Inhale and receive Spirit life full of mercy and grace.
- For unceasing prayers on behalf of Emmanuel College, for us to see clearly God's way forward, for leadership to understand his plan and communicate it well, for teamwork and unity to implement it, for our alumni and friends to support it.
- To hear the Word of the Lord regarding life after debt and our vision for an expanded mission for 2018 and beyond.
- To enroll more than 1000 students in August 2019.
- To continue reducing our debt over the next five years with the purpose of becoming debt-free.
Pray for upcoming events and activities:.
- General chapel services on Tuesdays at 11 a.m. and on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. and School of Christian Ministries chapel services on Thursdays at 11 a.m.
- Vision 4 Education Celebration sponsored by Women's Ministries, October 5.
- Board of Trustees Meeting, October 5-6.
- Homecoming Weekend, October 19-21.
- Fall Preview recruiting event, November 2-4.
