Unforgettable Deeds

Sing praises to the Lord who reigns in Jerusalem. Tell the world about his unforgettable deeds. (Psalm 9:11 NLT)

Today's meditation:

• Singing and praising God in the valleys and on the mountaintops is one way to keep our memories sharp lest we forget the mighty miracles and awesome works he has done in, for, and through us.

REJOICE today and give THANKS:

• For God's gift of his presence, for being with us in good times and bad, for allowing us to be a part of his ministry at Emmanuel College, some of us up close and personal and others from a distance, some as employees, others as volunteers and supporters, all of us as prayer warriors.

Pray for the top three needs of Emmanuel College:

• To hear the Word of the Lord regarding life after debt and our vision for an expanded mission for 2018 and beyond.
• To enroll more than 1000 students in August 2019.
• To continue reducing our debt over the next five years with the purpose of becoming debt-free.

Pray for upcoming events and activities:.

• General chapel services on Tuesdays at 11 a.m. and on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. and School of Christian Ministries chapel services on Thursdays at 11 a.m.
• Homecoming Weekend, October 19-21.
• Fall Preview recruiting event, November 2-4.
• Spring Semester enrollment in January 2019 to exceed expectations because of better retention, larger numbers of new students, and a total enrollment of 900 or more.
• EC Serve trips for 2019 in the planning stages to Alaska, Appalachia, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Myanmar, and Panama.
