Today's meditation:
- The enemy has always worked overtime to distract and confuse our youth, and this generation faces a lethal mix of temptations, perhaps like no other. The antidote is Jesus. May we proclaim him as never before.
- For the younger generations to turn to Jesus instead of drugs, alcohol, sex, and the alluring gods of pleasure and self-absorption.
- For the students of Emmanuel College to shun the destructive forces of modern society, and instead, explore life to its fullest in Jesus.
- For Emmanuel College to be a place of healing and restoration that leads to life in Jesus in all its fullness.
- To hear the Word of the Lord regarding life after debt and our vision for an expanded mission for 2018 and beyond.
- To enroll more than 1000 students in August 2019.
- To continue reducing our debt over the next five years with the purpose of becoming debt-free.
Pray for upcoming events and activities:.
- General chapel services on Tuesdays at 11 a.m. and on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. and School of Christian Ministries chapel services on Thursdays at 11 a.m.
- Fall Preview recruiting event, November 2-4.
- Spring Semester enrollment in January 2019 to exceed expectations because of better retention, larger numbers of new students, and a total enrollment of 900 or more.
- EC Serve trips for 2019 in the planning stages to Alaska, Appalachia, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Myanmar, and Panama.
