No One Like You

How great you are, O Sovereign Lord! There is no one like you. We have never even heard of another God like you! (2 Samuel 7:22 NLT)

Today's meditation:

• Let it sink in - the Sovereign Lord of the universe, the One like no other who has no equal, has redeemed us and covenanted with us to be our God and invited us to be his people.

Pray today:

• For the people of Emmanuel College to be completely surrendered to the Sovereign Lord, for us to worship him with abandon, for us know him intimately and serve him faithfully.

Pray for the top three needs of Emmanuel College:

• To hear the Word of the Lord regarding life after debt and our vision for an expanded mission for 2018 and beyond.
• To enroll more than 1000 students in August 2019.
• To continue reducing our debt over the next five years with the purpose of becoming debt-free.

Pray for upcoming events and activities:.

• General chapel services on Tuesdays at 11 a.m. and on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. and School of Christian Ministries chapel services on Thursdays at 11 a.m.
• Homecoming Weekend, October 19-21.
• Fall Preview recruiting event, November 2-4.
• EC Serve trips for 2019 in the planning stages to Alaska, Appalachia, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Myanmar, and Panama.
