Today's meditation:
- Being eager to give is a strong indicator that we know where our true treasure lies, not in the earthly, but in the heavenly, which is seen in the people whose lives are changed by the ministries we support.
- For special projects to remodel and improve facilities for our students including improvements to Wellons Residence Hall in 2019, for additional resources and funds to expand the project, for wisdom in fundraising, planning and implementation.
- For the alumni and friends of Emmanuel College to give generously for this and other projects that improve student life and create opportunities for advancing the mission of the College.
- To hear the Word of the Lord regarding life after debt and our vision for an expanded mission for 2018 and beyond.
- To enroll more than 1000 students in August 2019.
- To continue reducing our debt over the next five years with the purpose of becoming debt-free.
Pray for upcoming events and activities:.
- General chapel services on Tuesdays at 11 a.m. and on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. and School of Christian Ministries chapel services on Thursdays at 11 a.m.
- Fall Preview recruiting event, November 2-4.
- Spring Semester enrollment in January 2019 to exceed expectations because of better retention, larger numbers of new students, and a total enrollment of 900 or more.
- EC Serve trips for 2019 in the planning stages to Alaska, Appalachia, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Myanmar, and Panama.
