Urgent Needs

Our people must learn to do good by meeting the urgent needs of others; then they will not be unproductive. (Titus 3:14 NLT)

Today's meditation:

• Productivity is measured less by the size of bank accounts and possessions and more by the effectiveness of our response to those in need.

Pray today:

• For the people who are suffering in the aftermath of hurricanes Michael and Florence, for the families among our students who are being affected by these disasters, for the EC Serve response to these areas to be expanded, for EC alumni from around the nation to be effective in bringing relief, for the DRUSA teams on site.

Pray for the top three needs of Emmanuel College:

• To hear the Word of the Lord regarding life after debt and our vision for an expanded mission for 2018 and beyond.
• To enroll more than 1000 students in August 2019.
• To continue reducing our debt over the next five years with the purpose of becoming debt-free.

Pray for upcoming events and activities:.

• General chapel services on Tuesdays at 11 a.m. and on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. and School of Christian Ministries chapel services on Thursdays at 11 a.m.
• Homecoming Weekend, October 19-21.
• Fall Preview recruiting event, November 2-4.
• EC Serve trips for 2019 in the planning stages to Alaska, Appalachia, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Myanmar, and Panama.
